ENVIRONMENT
The temple of the void is a strong stone building on the plane of chaos. It is surrounded by a magic "bubble" to protect it from the unpredictable energies outside, which also makes it appear bright and sunny inside the temple, with the occasional bout of rain. The room where the battle will take place is the reception hall, where Korhian is testing for higher rank. In order to test his skills, the void monks must summon a warrior and pit Korhian against him. Regardless of whether or not he wins, his skill will have been clearly shown and the void monks can assess his eligibility for a promotion.
The hall is composed entirely of black polished granite, simply designed. 200 feet long and 200 feet wide with an open ceiling, the room is created to neither hinder nor empower any combatant, void monk or not.
SPECIAL RULES
-This battle will last a total of 20 posts, the winner being decided at that point if it is not made clear beforehand. -Death is an automatic loss. We will revive you if you should die, so do not be afraid of such an end to your life and fight to your fullest potential. -Flight is not allowed in this battle. -Intentionally destroying any part of this chamber to aid you in battle is strictly prohibited.
I NAME MY OPPONENT
The monks make their decision and close their eyes momentarily as a flash illuminates the room. Dinfea appears in front of the grandmaster.
"Welcome, Dinfea. You have been chosen to battle Korhian here in the temple of the void."
The fighters are told to take their places, 50 feet from opposite walls, leaving 100 feet between them and 100 feet to the walls on their left and right.

"what the...? how the hell did I get here? and what are YOU doing here?" ...... "fight him? but why?" ...... "fine, fine...."
Dinfea throws his staff at Korhian while he is between Dinfea, and the wall. but misses, spearing Aramath in the wall 50 feet distant. Dinfea then assumes Korhian form, and begins circling him.

Korhian ducks as the staff soars over him into the wall, then stops mid-form as he sees Dinfea take his shape.
"Interesting. You may be able to assume my form, Dinfea, but you cannot assume my mind. I find it unlikely at best that you would instantly know the secrets of the void monks. We will see how you fare."
Korhian begins circling again, suddenly channels energy into a burst of speed. His circles grow tighter until he and Dinfea are 10 feet from one another, still circling. Reversing his form into Wu Dang "Sung Shi Fist", he advance-steps towards Dinfea and makes a linear, open palm strike at Dinfea's chest with his left hand while keeping his right hand on the defensive, simultaneously moving in for a stomp on Dinfea's foot.

Korhian hears a whistling noise as aramath is called back to Dinfea, and rolls to the side instinctively, the staff bouncing loudly off of his shinplates and sending him to the ground. Korhian gets back up and shakes his head, regaining his focus. His mind once again ready, he rushes in towards Dinfea, closing the small distance between them easily, before attacking with a rising right kick.

Dinfea starts to dodge, but not quick enough. the kick connects with the inside of his calf and he begins to flip ionstead of roll. with pain throbbing in his leg, Dinfea regains his footing, and swings Aramath at Korhian's hip.

As Dinfea swings his staff, Korhian moves in to point blank range, one gauntlet absorbing what little force the staff exerts at such a close proximity while the other is aimed as a punch at Dinfea's face.

Korhian pulls his hands back, energizing them with ice. The fire and ice cancel each other out, and Korhian re-energizes his hands with ice again before attacking once more, charging in with a punch to Dinfea's ribs.
