Dinfea staggers, and falls to one knee before mastering the suprise of the pain. raising to his feet, he removes the blade, and quickly cauterizes the wound. he looks at Korhian, and throws his sword as far and high as possible. the sword is imbedded in a tree bout 1000 yards off, near the top of the tree. Dinfea assumes a defensive stance.

Korhian now wielding his kodachi only, he charges Dinfea, trying to close out the staff with the kodachi while aiming an open palmed fah jing at Dinfea's chest.

Dinfea falls to his back just as Korhian approaches, and rolls to the side to avoid trampling. he then swings at Korhian's ankles.

A whistling sound is heard through the trees as two Chakram weave in and out of the shadows cast by the trees, headed towards no fighter in particular. Zadreen begins dancing toward the fighters, whip-daggers licking at the trees closest to the dancer.

Dinfea is too slow to dodge, but manages to take only a glancing blow. as lights dance before his eyes, dinfea staggers to his feet. and jumps magnicifently high onto a tree branch.

Korhian frowns as Dinfea flees.
"You flee from direct combat? My foolish, truly mortal quarry. You fear death. Enjoy your waltz among the treebranches..."
Hearing a whistling noise, Korhian turns about to see what appears to be a wispy shadow-like being. Catching a glint of silver out of the corner of his eye, Korhian instinctively grabs the hilt of his iaito and quickly draws it, batting the flying blade away with a sound iaijutsu strike.
"You, on the other hand, appear to be an interesting opponent. You will find that you are not the only one who ntegrates a dance into his attacks."
Korhian sheaths his iaito and draws both kodachi, feeling that the additional weight and therefore slightly lower speed of the iaito would only hinder him against such an opponent.
Korhian begins to walk a circle around the incoming shadowdancer, moving through Ba Kua Chang's swimming dragon form and keeping a constant distance of approximately 15 feet from his new adversary.

Noticing the new opponent I decide the wiser to observe its movements before battling with it. I sprint of the tree that Dinfea is perched on and I asume squirrel tactics once again as I sneak up the tree.

dinfeabegins to throw fireballs down upon krohian pelting him with flame, and ignigting the fallen leaves on the forrest floor. dinfea then jumps to another tree, and resumes his attack, jumping, attacking...

Korhian looks upward and sees several fireballs hurtling towards him. Since he'd already been walking the Ba Kua defensive circle, evading them altogether with the aid of a burst of speed poses little challenge. Korhian simply amplifies to a great degree the speed at which he moves about the circle, and they land harmlessly in the areas he occupied only moments before. The leaves within the blast radius ignite and are consumed almost instaneously by the flame, bits of ash remaining on the ground.
"A good attempt, but your distance from me provides more than enough time to react."
Korhian's attention turns back to the shadowdancer, and he decides to move in for an attack. Quickly closing the 15 feet that remain between them, Korhian slashes with one kodachi while keeping the other on the defensive.

A shadowy bladed whip wraps around the kodachi and attempts to wrench it away from Kohiran as another tendril attempts to wrap around Kohiran's leg and trip him. The deflected Chakram returns to the dancer as the still flying one seems to shift it's course towards the monk.
